The Pointers did lose two time NCAA Division III qualifier Matt Berlin who was 4th in the nation last season as well as Luke Smiley who on a 24-3 record finished one match shy of NCAA DIII qualification.

22'-23' provides an excellent opportunity for Luca Paladino to step it up for the Pointers and be a leader this season. 9-13 on the year in 22', he wrestled quite well at the Upper Midwest Regional taking 6th place.
