Last season the Tomcats had one Regional place-winner but this season I believe they should have at least three.

I think it's reasonable to think that Junior Evan Whiteside could place top eight within the Regional this season. He was 17-4 last year.

| 133 lbs Hunter E Thompson |
Going into his junior season Hunter E Thompson was 6th in the Southeast Regional last season on a 17-4 record.

| 184 lbs Bryce McCloskey |
I was surprised that Bryce McCloskey didn't place within the top 8 at the Southeast Regional this past season. He had very close matches with both Lucas Salmon of Baldwin Wallace as well as Jaden Dantz of Washington & Jefferson who were both R12 at the NCAA Division III tournament. Sometimes guys just have bad tournaments and it's as easily chalked up as that. McCloskey was 20-5 last year.
