I believe we are looking a pretty tough lineup for the Wolves this season. Six of seven Region place-winners return, including an All American & two more NCAA Division II qualifiers.
125 lbs Landen Fischer |
Landon Fischer has made steady improvements throughout his career & it wouldn't surprise much to see him make even more improvements this season. 15-12 on the season last year, he was 6th at the Super Region V. While in an incredibly tough region, a top 3 showing & an NCAA Division II qualification is not out of the question.
141 lbs Kolton Roth |
Kolton Roth came ever so close to NCAA Division II qualification last season with a fourth place finish at the Super Region V. He was 13-7 on the year.
149 lbs Wyatt Turnquist |
20-5 on the season, Wyatt Turnquist earned NCAA Division II qualification with a 3rd place finish at the Super Region V.
165 lbs Kelby Hawkins |
5th at the Super Region V last season, Kelby Hawkins had a record of 12-8.
174 lbs Tyson Lien |
As Tanner Wiese was the starter for the Wolves last season, sophomore Tyson Lien did have a victory over Kolby Kost of Augsburg a Super Region V place-winner.
184 lbs Treyton Cacek |
11-5 on the season, Treyton Cacek nearly earned NCAA Division II All American honors as he finished out the year one match shy of a top eight showing at nationals. He was 3rd in the Super Region V.
197 lbs Cole Huss |
Senior Cole Huss had an outstanding junior campaign last year going 15-5 on the season, earning a runner-up finish at the Super Region V & taking 4th place All American honors at the NCAA Division II championships.
