2023 NCAA Division III The Season: UW-Oshkosh

Well B'Gosh! Let's talk about Oshkosh.  The Titans will feel the loss of NCAA Division III national champion Jordan Lemcke, who may I point out took 2nd at both the WIAC (Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference) & Upper Midwest Regional. Just goes to show you how incredibly tough DIII wrestling is & the amount of parity.  The Titans return two NCAA DIII qualifiers and six Regional place-winners.

125 lbs
Luc Valdez

A guy that isn't afraid to go upper-body, Luc Valdez took a runner-up finish at the WIAC last season as well as a 5th place finish at the Upper Midwest Regional. 24-7 on the season, he will fight for NCAA Division III qualification this year.

149 lbs
Bryce Jankowski

A 6-6 record may not be much to look at, but the fact that he was able to place in a very tough Upper Midwest Regional is. He was 8th last year as a freshman.

157 lbs
Nate Stokhaug

22-13 on the season last year Nate Stokhaug was 7th at the Upper Midwest Regional. Specializing on this feet, he will look to improve upon that finish this season.

165 lbs
Preston Morgan

Preston Morgan had himself a very nice sophomore season last year that included 3rd place finishes within both the WIAC & the Upper Midwest Regional. 22-10 on the year, he finished one match shy of being an NCAA Division III All American.

184 lbs
Patrick Curran

Patrick Curran earned medals at both the WIAC & Upper Midwest Regional tournaments last year as a freshman. He was 6th in the WIAC & 8th in the Upper Midwest Regional on a 20-13 record.

197 lbs
Beau Yineman

Beau Yineman enters his senior season after an excellent campaign as a junior. Going 36-4 on the year, he won a WIAC title, while taking 3rd at both the Upper Midwest Regional & the NCAA Division III championships.
