2023 NCAA Division III The Season: Elmhurst

 

The graduation of Jimmy McAuliffe will be felt this season. 89 career wins saw NCAA Division III qualification five times, with a national title won in 2021 & a 5th place finish last season & also a 7th place finish. The Blue Jays will look for a new face of the program & have two tough wrestlers looking to do just that. 

125 lbs
Jake Mora 

13-5 on the season last year, California native Jake Mora earned NCAA Division III qualification with a runner-up finish at the Upper Midwest Regional. Unfortunately injury kept him from participating. He'll look for redemption upon the moment this season. 

165 lbs
Jeff Nugent

Another Blue Jay that could very well make the NCAA Division III tournament this season is Jeff Nugent who was 5th in the Upper Midwest Regional last season.
