If there is one word to describe Ferrum wrestling as of late that word is heart. Their performance against stiff competition demonstrated their spirit & grit as a team.
125 lbs J.D. McMillin
A national qualifier in 2021, J.D. McMillin went 16-19 this past season capturing an 8th place finish at the Southeast Reginal. He was 8th at the Regional before, as this season he will go for his third medal.
141 lbs Levi Englman
Although listed as a senior on the team website for the 21'-22' season, I am extremely happy to be informed that Levi Englman will be returning for a 5th season this year. The 2019 All American heartbreakingly missed out on on making his fourth national tournament appearance with a 4th place finish in the regional. The Panther has an opportunity to redeem himself this season & earn his second top 8 finish in the nation.
165 lbs Elijah Martin
Another 2021 national qualifier, Elijah Martin also placed 8th this past season at the Southeast Regional on a 17-17 record.
165 lbs Christian Hite
A 6th place medal winner within the Regional, Scholar All American Christian Hite returns looking to improve upon his finish & qualify for the NCAA DIII tournament in his final season.
174 lbs Michael Oliver
With the true grit of John Wayne, Michael Oliver managed to capture an 8th place finish at the Southeast Regional last year.
197 lbs Brandon Homsey
Another wrestler I am happy to report is back despite also being listed as a senior on the only available team roster from last season is Brandon Homsey. An incredibly tough wrestler who has thus far earned two Regional medals for the Panthers & an NCAA Division III qualification. The Scholar All American will look to earn another top three Regional placing & a top eight showing at the NCAA Division III championships in what as of listed will be his final season.
184 lbs Rayshawn Dixon
A 2021 national tournament participant, RayShawn Dixon came really close to earning a second qualification this past season when he finished 4th at the Southeast Regional. Only a junior, he will look to earn that second qualification this year.
