I've heard rumors yet have yet to have it confirmed that NCAA Division III qualifier Jarrod Setliff may be looking at a tryout with WWE's developmental program NXT. Do not take this verbatim but how exciting would that be? Also graduated from last season is Joey Bradberry who came up one match short of NCAA DIII qualification finishing 4th in the Central Region. This season, I believe the Cardinals should send at least one wrestler to nationals & another who should compete tough within the Region.
157 lbs Ryan Whitten |
A 3-2, 1 point loss was all that separated Ryan Whitten from qualifying for the NCAA DIII's last season. The senior had an impressive 23-7 record and should be more than motivated to punch his ticket to the national tournament this season.
165 lbs Cale Callahan |
Without a doubt Cale Callahan is going to continue to improve as time goes by. The talented sophomore was 20-7 last season, finishing 7th in the Central Region. While I don't know if NCAA DIII qualification is on the table for this season, I do think that he will place higher within the Region. It's a high probability that he will see qualification at least once, if not twice during his career.
