2023 NCAA Division III The Season: Millikin

Despite the loss of two time NCAA Division III Champion Bradan Birt, the 2022-2023 season still looks to be a pretty good one for the Big Blue. Two qualifiers/one All American return with the potential to have up to five NCAA DIII qualifiers this season.

125 lbs
Tommy Russell

Some time in the NJCAA and some time in NCAA Division II, Tommy Russell enjoyed his first season of NCAA Division III wrestling las season. A 3rd place finish at the Lower Midwest Regional & an 8th place finish at the NCAA Division III championships. He will look to end his career a two time All American.

133 lbs
Zac Blasioli

An NCAA Division III qualifier in 2020, Zac Blasioli came up a little short of a second qualification this past season with a 5th place finish in the Lower Midwest Regional.  With strong backup Jesse Stewart challenging him for the position, who ever ends up varsity stands a good shot at making the dance this March.

157 lbs
Peter McCusker

Peter McCusker is another member of the Big Blue who came up a little short of NCAA Division III qualification after a more successful showing in 2021.  (Covid-19 recognized and considered) McCusker was 6th in the nation two years ago, 5th in the Regional this past season. He will look to earn a second All American honor this season.

184 lbs
Micah Downs

Like teammates Blasioli and McCusker, Downs is yet another 2021 National tournament qualifier who came up short of a second qualification placing 5th at the Lower Midwest Regional this past season. He too will look to regain his qualification status.

Brayan Reyes

Two time NCAA Division III qualifier Brayan Reyes will look for his third qualification this season as he enters his final season as a member of the Big Blue.
