2023 NAIA The Season: Cornerstone

A first year program & they already put two wrestlers through to the NAIA championships. May I also add that they already have a history section on their website. There are wrestling programs that have been around for 50 years that don't have one! I tell you what, this little school 10 minutes outside of Grand Rapids, Michigan is already showings signs of future greatness.  The Golden Eagles crowned two NWCA Academic All Americans last season.

125 lbs
Trevor Marsman

Trevor Marsman had an excellent campaign last season as a freshman. Going 30-9 on the season he made the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Finals (WHAC) & he earned NAIA qualification. Whether it is this season or not, I cannot say for sure, but if you're a betting man put your $$ down on Marsman as being the Eagles first NAIA  All American.

157 lbs
Thade Radosa

Took a little bit longer than Marsman did to get the gears turning, but Thade Radosa ended up having a pretty good end to his freshman season last year as well.  A 3rd place WHAC finish saw him earn his first NAIA qualification. Along with Marsman he will be a leader on this year's squad.
