2023 NAIA The Season: Thomas More

Like other teams within the NAIA, the Saints lost a couple of tough kids and they will bring back a couple of tough kids. Graduation takes NAIA All American Wilder Wichman & NAIA qualifier Andrew Taylor but we'll see three NAIA qualifiers/two All Americans + another tough wrestler return.

125 lbs
Shay Horton

Junior Shay Horton went 28-11 on the season last year qualifying for the NAIA championships. He should improve upon his 6th place Mid South Conference North (MSCN) finish & look for fight for All American honors.

149 lbs
Ryan Moore

Moore of Thomas More. That's fun to say isn't it? The Kentucky native who is getting a degree in Criminal Justice enters his final season as a Saint one of the best wrestlers in the NAIA yet to claim a national title.  He's finished the past two seasons with silver medals as this year he looks to claim the gold.

165 lbs
Kailan Keith

Kailan Keith went 23-13 on the season last year, finishing 5th at the MSCN tournament. I see the sophomore Marine Biology major improving upon his record & qualifying for NAIA championships this season.

197 lbs
Daulton Mayer

Kentucky native Daulton Mayer had a very impressive 32-4 season last year where all of his losses came in the post season. He finished 3rd at the MSCN tournament and 7th at the NAIA's. The education major will look for a spot in the MSCN finals and a higher finish on the award stand at the National tournament.
