2023 NAIA The Season: Southern Oregon

Gone is two time NAIA qualifier Fancisco Barrera. Back are three NAIA qualifiers, two of which were All Americans last season and another who should qualify for the national tournament this season.

125 lbs
Lorenzo Vasquez

A match shy of NAIA qualification last season finishing 4th at the Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) tournament, the four time Oregon High School State champion looks to make the national tournament this year.

133 lbs
Justin Coon

A four time NAIA qualifier, Justin Coon looks to add his name to the short list of wrestlers who will call themselves five time NAIA qualifiers.  One match shy of All American honors in 2021 as a junior, he will look to pick up his first NAIA medal as a super senior this season.

133 lbs
Evan Potter

Sophomore Evan Potter was living testimony to how incredibly stacked the 133 lbs weight class was within the CCC last season. He finished 7th in the conference & ironically 6th in the nation. In route to looking to become a rare four time All American, he'll look to earn his second honor this season.

157 lbs
Aaron Gandara

Fresno State transfer Aaron Gandara won a CCC title last season as he took 6th place All American honors at the NAIA's. He'll look to win another conference title & earn another All American honor this season.
