Five NAIA qualifiers & one All American and every one of them is back. Looks to be a good season for the Argonauts.
133 lbs Joey Avila |
After finishing one match shy of NAIA All American honors as a sophomore in 2021, Joey Avila went a disappointing 1-2 at last year's national tournament. He earned NJCAA All American honors for Southwestern Oregon before coming to Providence. He will look to earn NAIA All American honors this season.
141 lbs Caleb Birdwell |
Caleb Birdwell fell short of NAIA qualification last season as a freshman after placing 5th at the Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) tournament. I think he'll qualify from here on out as the four time Montana High School state finalist knows how to win.
165 lbs Jordan Komac |
After winning a CCC title in 2020 as a freshman, Komac finished 4th last season. The two time NAIA qualifier will look to win a second conference title this season.
184 lbs Hayden Schrull |
Thus far in his career Hayden Schrull has been a two time CCC runner-up. As he enters his junior season he will look to once again make the conference finals but this time leave the tournament with gold, rather than silver.
184 lbs Alan Badley |
The Washington native was a regional champion for North Idaho before becoming an Argo. Last season he qualified for his first trip to the NAIA championships & will look for a second trip this season.
HWT K.C. Buday |
From right there in Great Falls, K.C. Buday has been the star of the Argos squad and will continue to do so this season. A CCC champion & 7th in the NAIA's last season, he will look to win another conference title & add another All American plaque to his collection.
