Gone, Lost & Forgotten: Their Best = Wisconsin Superior

At one time Wisconsin-Superior was quite competitive in both the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference(WIAC) & in the NAIA.  Today the only sport that the Yellowjackets remain in the WIAC for is hockey.  Other than that they compete in the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC).

During their time on the mat, they saw their most successful years in the mid to late 60's.  A fifth place finish in 1963, followed by back to back seventh place finishes in 1966 & 1967 at the NAIA tournament.

Post college he entered the Army & later taught high school at the Wurzburg American school in Germany.
