Gone, Lost & Forgotten: Their Best = Cal Lutheran

Located in Thousand Oaks, California  the Kingsmen of Cal Lutheran are an NCAA Division III institution that was NAIA at the time they fielded a wrestling program.   

Steve Magruder
150 lbs 

Current president of the extermination company S.A.M. Termite,  Steve Magruder earned NAIA All American status with fourth place finish in 1971. 

Kathy King 
  

King was actually a manager for the wrestling program but may have been the first female to have ever been listed in a dual meet victory for a collegiate wrestling team.  In a dual in 1973, the opposing team did not have a 118 lbs'er.  That night neither did the Beavers.  The coach had Kathy weigh in, put on a singlet & go out and take a forfeit.
