Located in Springfield, Missouri the only thing different about when Evangel had wrestling & now was at the time it was known as Evangel College & today it is known as Evangel University. Other than that, they're still known as the Crusaders and Maroon & white at the school colors. Were NAIA then & they're NAIA now.
The only information I was able to find on the wrestling team was that one of their All American soccer players Dave Bittenger, was an NAIA qualifier in 1974.
