The Saint Bernard's best wrestler was two time NJCAA All American Roger Sayles.  Sayles placed fifth at the 1981 NJCAA tournament, winning an NJCAA title in 1982.  He went on to Cal Poly where he took fourth at the NCAA Division II championships.   

Post college Sayles ran his own construction business & was an assistant wrestling coach at Sam Barber High School.
