Gone, Lost & Forgotten: Their Best = Rocky Mountain College

Still a member of the the NAIA, located in Billings, Montana, Rocky Mountain College at one time was a rather competitive wrestling team that competed in the Frontier Conference.  They won the 1972 Frontier conference title.  

Vern Beffert

A native of Sheridan, Wyoming, Vern Beffert won a Frontier Conference title in 1972. 

Floyd Vaughn

A native of Adrian, Michigan the late Floyd Vaughn won a Frontier Conference champion for the Battlin' Bears in 1972.  He later coached wrestling at nearly every level, including the Olympic.  He then had a stint in Hollywood appearing in various films & television shows.  Some of which included Pearl Harbor, Tears of the Sun, Magnum P.I. & Baywatch.   

Dennis Dallas

 

Dallas won two Frontier Conference titles for the Forest Green & Vegas gold in 1971 & 1972.
