Gone, Lost & Forgotten: Their Best = Anderson (Indiana)

A while back I did a Gone, Lost & Forgotten feature on Anderson (South Carolina).  Today's is on Anderson (Indiana).   Today a Division III school that competes in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference.   When they had a wrestling program up through the 1984-1985 season, they were NAIA & competed in the Hoosier-Buckeye Collegiate Conference (HBCC) 


Henry Wilk
118 lbs 

A State champion for Mishawaka High school in 1969, Wilk earned NAIA All American status twice during his time wrestling for the Ravens.  He was fifth in 1972, earning runner-up honors in 1973. 

Post college he coached both football & wrestling at the high school level. 


Doug Stoll
126 lbs 

A graduate of Elkhart High school, Stoll had a stellar career competing for the Orange & Black.  Winning two HBCC titles, he finished fifth at the 1976 NAIA championships, making the finals in 1977.  He finished his career with a record of 90-15. 

Post College he coached at Moore High School in Oklahoma City, crowing 20 individual state champions & finishing fifth at the 1989 state tournament. 


Mike Niccum
126 lbs 

Niccum won two HBCC titles & earned two NAIA All American honors while competing for the Ravens.  He was fifth in 1983 & eighth in 1984.
