To my understanding the first Pete Willson Wheaton Invitational was held in the 1955-1956 season. It is a tournament that is still held to this day.
I only have information on the Wheaton Invitational between 1956 and 1981, as well as the last few years which has been won by teams that still have wrestling. If you know of a team that won the Wheaton Invitational between 1982 and now, that no longer has wrestling let me know.
