The CCIW (College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin) started off as the College Conference of Illinois in 1946, later during the 1956-1957 school year when a couple of Wisconsin schools joined it became the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin.
The conference began sponsoring wrestling during the 1959-1960 season and still sponsors wrestling to this day. Of all schools that participated in wrestling, only four of those schools have since dropped their wrestling programs. Out of those four, three all won one conference title.

In case you are wondering the other school to have had wrestling and since dropped in the conference is Illinois Wesleyan.
