From what I have been able to find, The Mason Dixon Conference Ran from 1936 through 1974. Ironically enough, I have found wrestling information up through 1977. So I'm not sure if 1974 is recorded incorrectly by the sources I've found or if perhaps wrestling kept the name in spite of the fact that the official conference disbanded in 1974. I don't know. If you do know, please let me know and I'll make corrections.
As to what I've found the first wrestling tournament was held in 1952. If you have anything earlier than 1952 or if you have anything later than 1977, please let me know.
