2026 was a great year for Roadrunner Wrestling as head Coach Todd Hesson led his Southwestern Michigan squad to its fourth Michigan Community College Athletic Association (MCCAA) team title & he saw all 10 of his wrestlers qualify for the NJCAA championships. The downside, is that 6 of the 10 qualifiers, including All-Americans Santana Ramon & Kaden Lapaugh, are now out of NJCAA eligibility. The upside, 4 return, and the green & gold have some good talent heading in. Another upside? They'll be practicing in a brand new state of the line facility!

| 125 or 133 Darius Ambs |
The one-two punch of All-Americans Santana Ramon & Kaden Lapaugh is going to be difficult to replace. The Roadrunners have some good talent coming in this year & it's hard to tell right now who will be likely to go 125 & who will be going 133. I think somewhere in this mix will be Darius Ambs, a two-time Michigan High School state place winner, with 140 career wins.

Another tough lightweight coming in to compete for the Roadrunners this season will be Preston Hammond. A 3.5 GPA wrestler bringing in 114 victories.

| 141 Mazzy Lambert |
Lambert had to rely on a wildcard in order to see his first NJCAA championships last season, but up to that point, he had earned a *3 seed at the Great Lakes District championship. He'll look to improve upon his season last year.

| 149 Nate Carter |
A four-time Michigan High School State place-winner, who ended his career as a state champion, Nate Carter looks to be the replacement of Dylan McClean who won a MCCAA title & finished as the Great Lakes District runner-up, one match shy of being an NJCAA All-American.

| 157 Will Kennedy |
The South Bend, Indiana native took 4th at the Great Lakes District championship, adding a MCCAA title to his list of accomplishments.

| 174 T.J. Mitchell |
A Greco specialist, T.J. Mitchell is hailing all the way from Pennsylvania to compete for the Road Runners this season.

| 184 Amari Richardson |
3rd at the Gulf Lakes District last season, Amari Richardson looks to contend for a title this season.

| HWT Chaz Underwood |
Another Gulf Lakes District bonze medalist from 2026, looking for gold in 2027.
