The Lights do lose two talents from last season, but with four returning NAIA national qualifiers, all with reason to think this could be their best season, 2026-2027 could turn out to be a great year for Montana State Northern.

Truth is none of us have a clue as to just how good Orion Thivierge really is. Injuries have thus far gotten the best of this young man, but 2026-2027? Let there be light!! Specifically NORTHERN light. 4th in the CCC & an Oppenheim runner-up, if Thivierge is finally 100% healthy, he'll be one of the biggest surprises of the season.
