JT1Wrestle Takes a Look at Southeast Community College 2026-2027

 

From day one, Head Coach Terry Pack had the Bobcats of Southeast Community College as one of the top teams in the world of NJCAA wrestling.  All-Americans, National champions, you name it, Coach Pack got it done during his short time in Beatrice, Nebraska.  Now he's at Northeastern State in Oklahoma, an NCAA DII school, and he's bound to turn the Riverhawks into a powerhouse team...very well from day one once again. 

What is Southeast Community College Wrestling going to look like under new management? Well, that is the question isn't it? 

Two-time NJCAA champion Keith Smith is following Pack to Northeastern, and should be an immediate player when we start thinking about DII All-American contenders at 157.  Ira Jenkins, an NJCAA runner-up this past season will compete for St Cloud State.  As to Victor Samuel Montoya, 3rd in the NJCAA & two-time NJCAA All-American Ayson Ryce (4th-4th)? They have yet to announce where they'll be competing. Also no word yet on Dylan Scott, who finished one match shy of NJCAA All-American honors.

Right there with Baustert was Miles Anderson up a weight, who also made the Plains District finals & finished one match shy of being an NJCAA All-American.

Silas Foster

The irony of this sport will never cease to amaze me.  Silas Foster, a two-time Indiana High School State place-winner placed twice while in high school.  His placements? 6th & 7th.  He earned NJCAA All-American honors last year.  What did he place? 5th.  Of course right?  He was also a Plains District runner-up. 

UPDATE: Silas Foster is heading to Northeastern State!!
