2026-2027 looks like it's going to be a great year of Firestorm wrestling. Get out the marshmellows & get your campfire stories prepared, because things about to heat up. Gone are two-time NAIA qualifier Kaiden Cisneros & transfer Leo Galasso who made the Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) finals last year. Rico Robles, 4th at last year's Missouri Valley Invitational is also out of eligibility. Back are 6 NAIA qualifiers, plus another looking bound for success in his own right.
125 Julio Gonzalez
Only a sophomore, Julio Gonzalez was an NAIA qualifier for the Firestorm last season.
133 Sean Archuleta
The leader of the pack, Sean Archuleta returns having posted a 4th place finish in the NAIA back in 2025. Looking to become the Firestorm's first national champion, Archuleta should start off '26-'27 with a very high ranking.
133 Jason Ramirez
The Future Dermatologist won titles at both the Oppenheim Open & the CCC.
141 Mike Trujillo
Another tough sophomore, Mike Trujillo had an outstanding first year of varsity wrestling. One match shy of being an NAIA All-American, he was 3rd at the CCC, and 2nd at the Friends Falcon Invitational.
141 Channing Porter
The Lone senior among a flood of underclassmen, Channing Porter has thus far had 4th & 6th place finishes at the CCC. He was also 4th at last year's Missouri Valley Invitational.
149 Carlos Stanton
Talk about starting things off with a bang. Carlos Stanton won the CCC last year as a rookie & finished 6th in the NAIA nation.
157 Enzo Morales
Look for some big things out of Enzo Morales this season. A runner-up at the Mile High Open, he was 6th at the Missouri Valley Invite.

Plain to see as we start off the beginning of the season Arizona Christian is very light & middle weight heavy, with tons of talent between 125 & 157. I believe those will be the weights that the Firestorm relies upon in both duals & tournaments.
