John Madden always said good things about wrestling & I can't help but think that if he were still alive that he'd be a big fan of the Missouri Valley Vikings. Why? Because I can't think of a team that reminds me more of the Oakland Raiders than Missouri Valley. They lose some talent this year, but they also bring back a lot of talent as well.
Heart goes out to Francis Morrissey. Talent wise, the guy had the tools & ability to be an NAIA national champion. Unfortunately health & injuries played a large part as to why he came up short of his third All-American honor after placing 7th & 6th in previous seasons.
Dayton Hill 5th at the Heart of America (HOA) & 2nd at the Missouri Valley Invitational, is now out of eligibility.
Shit talking opponents, a hatred of the media, we now say goodbye to wrestling's Larry Bird, as Elijah Hynes ends his illustrious career. A three-time All-American, he went 8th-5th-7th-R12 at the national tournament, placing 4th-3rd-4th-2nd at the HOA.

The California native will be shooting for his third HOA title this season & his second All-American honor after placing 7th in the NAIA nation last season. He was also a runner-up at both Dan Harris & the Missouri Valley Invitational last season.

4th & 3rd thus far in the HOA, Florida native Robert Albert was 7th at last year's Missouri Valley Invitational.

| Tuvshi Zuunbayan 133 |
Tuvshi Zuunbayan did not have the HOA tournament he was hoping for, but he bounced back nicely to earn 8th place All-American honors at the NAIA national tournament. He was also 3rd at the Missouri Valley Invitational.

Another California talent, Kris Arrey a two-time HOA bronze medalist, was one match shy of being an NAIA All-American last season. He also earned a bronze medal at the Missouri Valley Invitational.

3rd at the HOA, Brayden Shelton was also 3rd at Dan Harris.
