2026-2027 looks to be a rebuilding year for the Wildcats, as Baker loses a group of seniors who garnered both a lot of wins & a lot of accomplishments during their time in Baldwin City, Kansas. Two-time NAIA qualifier Saul Prado's absence will be heavily felt at 125 lbs, as will two-time Heart of American (HOA) runner-up Nik Slatoff at 133. Jazen Brown, who as 6th at the Missouri Valley Invitational, as well as Nakos Benton & Eli Messick, both R12 at Mo Valley, are out of eligibility as well.

Holding the fort, as we look forward to new Wildcats about to make names for themselves will be Noah Sample. The Arkansas native showed great potential for what he's capable of in '26-'27 by capturing 7th place at the Missouri Valley Invitational.
