The Mocs of Chattanooga once ruled the Southern Conference for decades & moving forward we could be looking at the beginning of another dynasty. The end of eligibility only took one from last season as they return five tough starters from last year & add in a couple of transfers.
Cooper Flynn ended his career at three-time NCAA DI qualifier. A Southern Conference champion, he also placed 3rd at the Southern Scuffle.
125 Ty Tice or Travis Clawson
Chattanooga put the time in to getting Clarion transfer Travis Clawson, so it's safe to assume there are some expectations for the former Golden Eagle, now Moc. However, Ty Tice had some ups last year that should not be ignored. 8th at the Southern Scuffle, compared to Clawson who finished in the R12. Should be a good wrestle-off.
133 Ethan Uhorchuk
Fell short of NCAA DI qualification last year, but should contend for top 33 honors by the end of this season. Ethan Uhorchuck went 22-9.
157 Cody Chittum
It doesn't feel like it's been this long, but Chattanooga hasn't put anyone on the NCAA DI award stand since 2008. If they are to crown an All-American in 2027, it'll be Iowa State transfer Cody Chittum. The two-time NCAA DI qualifier has some impressive wins on his resume thus far. Went 15-2 last year, taking a redshirt.
165 Charlie Foster
Onondaga's first NJCAA national champion will be competing for the Mocs this season & will be an excellent addition to the Chattanooga lineup.
174 Kamdyn Munro
The Georgia native won 15 matches for Chattanooga last season, placing 7th at the Southern Scuffle.
184 Landon Jones
Another Georgia native, Landon Jones won 24 matches last year for the navy blue & old gold. 6th at the Southern Scuffle.
197 Kade Rule
18 wins on the season Kade Rule won both the Southern Conference & the Southeast Open.
