Gone, Lost & Forgotten: Their Best = Carroll

Located a half hour east of Milwaukee in the community of Waukesha, Carroll fielded a varsity wrestling team up through the 1998-1999 season.  

Glenn Blumm 

Blumm won a College Conference of Illinois-Wisconsin (CCIW) as a junior in 1967, taking runner-up honors in 1965, 1966 & 1968.   In Track, Blumm won a CCIW title in shot put in 1968.   After college he coached football, wrestling & track at Oconto High school.

Stephen Sippy 

While a member of the Pioneers wrestling team, where Sippy really shined was on the cross country & track teams.  In cross country he won three conference titles.  In Track he won conference titles in both the one mile & two mile as well as the 880 yard run.  

Mike Chitjian 

Chitjian was also a member of the Pioneer's football team. 

Greg Schleicher
177 lbs 

After finishing in third place at the conference championships in 1981 & 1982, Schleicher made the finals in 1983, which lead to an NCAA Division III qualification.  He ended his career with 96 victories. 

In 1982 he was named Honorable Mention All American as a linebacker on the football team.
