Four (Or More) Time State Champions = Vermont

The history of Vermont's four time state champions is short and sweet. Kinda sad too. From what I have been able to find, only 25% of them wrestled beyond high school.

Jim Burns

Jim Burns of Essex Junction became Vermont's first four time state champion when he won his fourth title in 1993. From what I have found he did not wrestle in college.

Jeremiah Rogers

Jeremiah Rogers won four Vermont High School State titles from 94'-97' for Mt. Anthony. From what I could find, he did not wrestle in college.

Phil Kerin

Representing Spaulding, Phil Kerin won four Vermont High School State titles from 96'-99'.  He competed collegiately for SUNY-Cortland.

Jeremiah Gingras

Jeremiah Gingras won four Vermont High School State championships from 98'-01'. From what I could find he did not wrestle in college.

Robert Hamlin

Robert Hamlin won his four Vermont State High School crowns for Mount Mansfield Union. He wrestled collegiately for Lehigh, where he had an outstanding career for the Mountain Hawks.  He was a two time NCAA finalist in his sophomore & senior seasons, capturing 4th place All American honors as a junior.  He back to back EIWA titles in his sophomore & junior seasons. He was also a four time Midlands place-winner going, 8th, 3rd, 1st, 2nd.
