Caleb McElfresh was instrumental in Steve Weathers 8th place NAIA All American finish last season & now that he has taken over as head coach, I think he will continue to yield such results. It may take some time though. I do think this season will be a struggle for the Spartans, but they should have at least one NAIA qualifier.

As much as we've seen Purler Wrestling Academy advertised and promoted on various wrestling websites and pages, sophomore Dillon Witt has given us an opportunity to see the foundations put into practice at the collegiate level. His skills led him to his first American Midwest Conference finals appearance as well as his first NAIA qualification. A wrestler that continuously improved year after year in high school, it's a fair prediction to think he'll do the same collegiately.
