Gone, Lost & Forgotten: Their Best = Mansfield

A small Division II school in Pennsylvania, less than a half hour drive from the New York state line, the Mountaineers success on the mat came at both the NCAA Division III & NCAA Division II levels. 

Mark Sasson
158 lbs 

Sasson put together a record of 41-20 in route to a NCAA Division III All American finish of sixth place in 1974. 

Roy Pikulski
167 lbs  

A two sport athlete that had to deal with both of his sports programs being dropped.  As a wrestler, he placed third at the 1978 NCAA Division III championships. As a golfer he won three conference titles in 1976, 1977 & in the final year of the program 1978.   For his efforts in both wrestling and golf, he was named Mansfield's athlete of the year in 1978. 

Lee Prough
190 lbs 

Prough was an NCAA Division II All American for the Mountaineers, earning an eighth place finish in 1989. 

Scott Setzer

Accumulating 88 victories over the course of his career, Setzer took seventh place honors at the 1995 NCAA Division II tournament.
