Located in Melborne, the Panthers had wrestling at the NCAA Division II level (which they are still in today).
Haruki Kawamukai who wrestled at 118 lbs made All American in 1977 taking fifth place honors.
Ray Barker who wrestled at 190 lbs made All American in 1978 also taking fifth place.
