Gone, Lost & Forgotten: Their Best = Indiana of Pennsylvania

Before coming to an end after the 1984-1985 season, the Crimson Hawks of Indiana University of Pennsylvania were a respectable team in both the NAIA & NCAA Division II levels. 



Larry McCoy
167 lbs

A native of Indiana High School, McCoy enjoyed a standout career for the Crimson Hawks that included winning three District championships & winning the NAIA national title in both 1975 & 1976.  He ended his career with a record of 94-14.   

Post college McCoy joined the Washington D.C. police department.  During Bill Clinton's presidency, McCoy would often join him on his morning runs.  

Randy Strayer
167 lbs 


Strayer was an NCAA Division II All American taking seventh place honors in 1984

David King
130 lbs 


King became the Crimson Hawks first NCAA Division II All American when he placed fifth in 1967. 



Rich Bonaccorsi
177 lbs 

A native of Pittsburgh where he attended Keystone Oak High school, Bonaccorsi had a standout season in 1984 winning an Eastern Regional championship & taking eighth place honors at the NCAA Division II tournament.
