Also a champion shot putter while in college, Boggs won a conference title for the Penguins before finishing up his collegiate career at Lewis & Clark where he took 7th place All American honors at the NAIA tournament. He ended his career with a 51-7 record. Post college he turned his attention to coaching Football at Fort Vancouver High School, leading his team to five league titles.
