I haven't been able to find out much about Eastern Kentucky wrestling other than to know that at one time they had a program & they qualified for the NCAA tournament through the Eastern Regional.

House, who also played football for the Colonels, was a NCAA qualifier in 1969. Later in life he received the Kentucky Medal of Honor for his work in Insurance & Financial Aid. To this day an award in his honor, The Colonel Scholar award is giving out to an athletic at EKU each year.

A graduate of Lee County High School, Mitchell was an NCAA qualifier for the Colonels in 1970.

Bill Froman 118 lbs

Froman received a Wildcard entry to the NCAA tournament in 1972 after taking runner-up honors at the Eastern Regional.
