Gone, Lost & Forgotten: SUNY-Corning

 

Wasn't able to find out a whole heck of a lot about the Red Barons wrestling program, but I did come across a few interesting things. 

Marc Gillespie 

Marc Gillespie, Uncle of Edinboro All Americans Gregor & Torsten was a two time NJCAA runner-up for the Red Barons in 1972 & 1973. 

Ron Winnie 

Winnie was an NJCAA All American for the Red Barons before transferring to SUNY-Brockport. While there he won back to back NCAA DIII titles in 1982 & 1983. One of the handful of NCAA DIII wrestlers to place at the NCAA DI tournament, he was 8th in 1983. 

Keith Clark 

Clark was an NJCAA All American for the Red Barons. 

Erminio DeAngelis

Erminio DeAngelis won an NJCAA title for the Red Barons in 1978
