Gone, Lost & Forgotten: Their Best = College of the Redwoods

Started in the 1965-1966 season by Jim Slyvia, the Corsairs of College of the Redwoods  were quite competitive during their less than twenty season on the mat.  Winners of five Golden Valley Conference team titles, Corsair wrestling came to an end after the 1983-1984 season.

He returned to Arcata High & took over as head coach leading the team to an impressive 263-40 dual record, including three sectional team titles & 15 League team titles.
