And That's a Career - A final salute to the Class of '25 - NCAA Division III 184 lbs

Marcus Orlandoni
UW-La Crosse

Marcus Orlandoni was unable to win a Regional (finished 2nd in '24 & '25) title during his last two seasons as an Eagle, but no bother, because what he did do was win an NCAA Division III title! 20-3 on the year, he also won a Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference title.

Jared Voss
Coe

Jared Voss ended a great career as a Coe Kohawk finishing 7th in the D3 nation.  Had 3rd-5th-2nd finishes at Regionals.

Blake Williams
Adrian

A three-time NCAA D3 qualifier, finished 2nd & 1st the past two Regionals & one match shy of D3 All American honors.  Had 29 wins this season.

Joel Martsinovsky
Stevens Tech

108 career wins, Joel Martsinovsky had 2nd & 3rd place finishes at Regionals, finishing one match shy of D3 All American honors in both '24 & '25.

Sampson Wilkins
Castleton

134 wins, Sampson Wilkins was an All American last year as a junior & throughout his career had 3rd-1st-2nd place showings at Regionals.  Went 29-4 on the season.

Ryder Slayton
Messiah

Ryder Slayton racked up the credentials during his career.  139 W's, he was 5th-3rd-3rd at Regionals, placing 7th-6th-2nd at Pete Willson.  Was one match shy of D3 All American honors.

Jack McCusker
Washington & Lee

Jack McCusker proved that you don't have to have a fancy record.  At the end of the day, if you're an NCAA D3 qualifier, that's what people remember.  Finished 3rd at Regionals.

Trent Furman
NYU

Twice R12 at D3 nationals, Trent Furman was one match shy of qualification this year finishing 4th at Regionals.  28 wins on the year, one of them was an 11-2 major over Ganon Smith.

Niall Schoenfelder
UW-Eau Claire

Finishing 3rd in the D3 nation a year ago, Niall Schoenfelder unfortunately wasn't able to make it back to the D3 national tournament this year.  Still had highlights on the season nonetheless, finishing 3rd at Pete Willson & runner-up at the WIAC.  Was 6th-3rd-6th at Regionals.

Cael McLaren
Cornell (IA)

96 career wins, Cael McLaren finished off his career with 4th-2nd-5th Regional finishes, and 1st & 8th place finishes at Pete Willson.  Was a match away from D3 All American honors last year.  29 wins this season.

Peyton Geigner
North Central

5th-7th-5th-4th, I would have to conclude that Petyon Geigner as one of the best at 184 lbs this season who never did qualify for the NCAA DIII championships.  103 career wins, a two-time Collegiate Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin champion, won 30 matches this season.

Chris Nuss
Wilkes

Chris Nuss finishes off his collegiate career, a three-time Regional place-winner with 8th-6th-6th finishes.

Ky'ell Roper
Johnson & Wales

Ky'ell Roper finished one match shy of D3 qualification with a 4th place finish at Regionals.

Owen McDaniel
Albion

Owen McDaniel finished off his collegiate career with 5th & 7th place Regional finishes.  Won 19 matches this season.
