Buechey was a two time NCAA qualifier for the Pirates in 1966 & 1967. Post college he got into making prosthetic limbs for athletes.

A three time NCAA qualifier for the Pirates, Cerchio's best season was in 1995 as a senior. He finished the year with 41-7 record, capturing seventh place at the NCAA championships. He had a career record of 103-25.

Arguably the most successful wrestler in Pirate history, Joe Burke put together an incredible career record of 148-20. He was an All American twice during his career placing fourth in 1993 & third in 1995.
