If you've read my writings & listened to my JT1Wrestle podcast, you know that I'm pretty big on Bucknell this year & that I've been pretty vocal that I feel they can open up some eyes this year. Are they beating #17 Virginia Tech this Friday? No, that ain't happening. Are certain individuals going to show up & demonstrate that Bucknell has some AA contenders this year? I'm betting on it.
#15 Dylan Chappell Vs #17 Tom Crook 141
Really, really looking forward to this match. I think both of these guys are way better than what they are currently ranked & I think both are All-American caliber wrestlers. If most of this match is wrestled on the feet, I say it heavily favors Tampa Tom. I do think Crook is the better man from the neutral position. If most of this match is wrestled on the mat? Going with Chappell. He's an absolute terror on top. Crook is going to be a tough wrestler to turn, but I do think if riding time becomes an issue in this match, Chappell can keep Crook from escaping. Anxious to see how this one turns out.
#23 Noah Mulvaney Vs #21 Mac Church 165
This will be another good match. One important for ranking purposes. Not a whole heck of a lot changes if Church wins this match, but if Mulvaney can pull off the mild upset, it would be good for him as he climbs the ladder.
#22 Myles Takats Vs #16 Sergio DeSiante 174
Myles Takats pulled off some very impressive wins last season & no doubt about it, he'll pull off some more this year. Last year he dominated Sergio DiSiante 11-1 major decision. If he defeats him again, historical results may not call it a significant upset, but rankings will. I think Takats is a top 12, maybe better wrestler. A win here, especially if it is like the one he had last year, moves him closer to that ranking.
#13 Dillon Bechtold Vs #16 Sonny Sasso 197
Another really good match here at 197. Both of these guys tall and lanky, anxious to see how this one turns out.
