Gone, Lost & Forgotten: Warner Pacific

I'm not exactly sure when Warner Pacific wrestling started, but I can tell you that it came to an end after the '22-'23 season.  I believe it may have started in the '14-'15 season, giving the Knights a total of 9 years on the mat.

Josh Johnson

A two time Oregon High School State champion.  Josh Johnson took a 3rd place finish at the West Regional in 2017, earning NAIA qualification.  He was also the Mike Clock Open runner-up that season as well.

Blake Cooper

Hawaiian native Blake Cooper has one of the most successful careers at Warner Pacific.  A three time NAIA qualifier, he won the NAIA national title in 2016 as a sophomore, again making the NAIA finals as a junior in 2017.  Unfortunately he would be upset at the 2018 championships & come up one match shy of earning a third All American honor.  A West Regional champion in 2016, he finished 2nd in 2017, winning a Cascade Conference title in 2018.

Stephen Wilbert

Another successful wrestler on the Knight squad was Las Vegas native Stephen Wilbert.  Wilbert's junior season of 2016, he took a 3rd place showing at the West Regional & then went on to earn NAIA All American honors of 8th place.  As a senior in 2017, he won the Mike Clock Open.

Josh Crager

A three time high school state champion out of Washington, Josh Crager had an outstanding junior season for the Knights in 2017.  Earning runner-up honors at the West Regional, Crager would take 8th place All American honors at the NAIA championships.

Baylen Cooper

Like brother Blake, Baylen Cooper had success while competing for the Knights.  Won the 2018 Cascade Conference title as a sophomore.
