Located in Springfield, Kentucky, St. Catharine College existed from 1931 until 2016. They only fielded a wrestling program their last two seasons of existence but none the less, still had quite a bit of success considering that they were only around a couple of years. Many of their wrestlers, as well as their coaches ended up going to Bellarmine. What was the Patriots' loss, became the Knights' gain.

Spencer Adams was the head coach for the Patriots during their two seasons of '14-'15 & '15-'16. In total he coached seven wrestlers to NAIA qualification.

Helping Coach Adams coach those seven wrestlers to NAIA qualification was assistant coach Gary Canter.
Mike Clark |
Mike Clark was an NAIA national qualifier for the Patriots in 2015.
Andy Dobben |
Andy Dobben earned NAIA qualification for the Patriots in 2016. He'd go on to compete for Bellarmine his final three seasons of competition.
B.J. Carman |
B.J. Carman was an NAIA qualifier for the Patriots in 2015.
Mario Bell |
Mario Bell earned NAIA qualification in 2016.
Garrett Carter |
An Ohio Native, Garrett Carter won 15 matches, placing 3rd at the East Regional, earning NAIA qualification his freshman season in 2016. He went on to compete for Lourdes, where he would again earn NAIA qualification, and back to back 4th place finishes within the Sooner Athletic Conference.
Andy Lenz |
Andy Lenz actually began his wrestling career at Lindsey Wilson before transferring to St. Catharine. All in all, he was a three time NAIA qualifier.
Anthony Ashford |
Some schools have been around for decades. Some even longer than that, and they have yet to sniff an All American. The Patriots were only around two seasons & they nearly crowned an All American in 2016. Anthony Ashford lost in the dreaded R12, to finish one match shy of a top 8 finish.
