That Nate Carr photo is actually my former Alabama teammate Jimmy Carr the older brother of Nate Carr Sr. Jimmy started out at Kentucky where his older brother was the coach.
ReplyDeleteNate Carr Sr received a full 4-year scholarship to Iowa State where he was a 3x Nat'l NCAA D1 Champ! He also earned an Olympic Bronze Medal after a controversial non-point award in the Semi-Finals of the 1988 Seoul Olympics.
ReplyDeleteI considered Jimmy Carr to be a walking wrestling library literally! He is still the youngest ever to make the US Olympic Wrestling team in US history and wrestle at the Olympics at only age 17! He focused on the Freestyle category & he even beat the Olympic Gold Medalist in a dual meet! Jimmy won the Midlands Invitational as an Unattached High Schooler his 1st time out there!
