JT1Wrestle Takes A Look A Simpson (Iowa) 2026-2027

 

The Storm is going to bring on the thunder & the rain at the HWT weight class this season, but before I speak about him, I want to give a shout out to Trey Kellow. 

1-3 as a freshman, 3-15 as a sophomore & 6-9 as a junior, Trey Kellow kept plugging along, kept working hard & kept believing in himself.  Unfortunately, it did not translate into a Regional VI placing this season, but winning 24 matches this season really impressed me. A reminder that it's never too late to get better.

Carson Slorah

Only a sophomore & a native of Indianola, it's clear to see that Carson Slorah is going to be the leader of the Storm for the next few seasons.  18 wins last year, he was 5th at Regional VI.
