AT LARGE: Wild Card Candidates for 2025 NCAA DI's = 141 lbs

Here at 141 lbs, we have four open spots available & I feel very confident that I know who the four wrestlers are going to be who take them.   My picks for the wildcards?  See below.

#16
Josh Edmond
Missouri

3rd in the BIG 12 a year ago, Josh Edmond came up a match short of a top 8 finish this past weekend.  A match shy of being an NCAA DI All American last year, the Tiger owns a 5-2 decision over Jordan Titus & a 9-4 decision over Jason Miranda.

# 18
Haiden Drury
Utah Valley

7th in the BIG 12 a year ago, 2022 NCAA DI qualifier Haiden Drury was one match shy of placing at the BIG 12's last weekend.  Owns a 5-2 decision over Julian Tagg.

#26
Henry Porter
Indiana

Henry Porter among his ranking, also owns a 14-7 decision over Evan Mouglian.

#27
Jayden Scott
North Carolina

5th in an ACC bracket that took the top 4.  Among a respectable ranking, I think both a 3-2 t.b. win over Mosha Schwartz & a runner-up finish at the Southern Scuffle will be on the Tar Heel's side.

#17
Danny Pucino
Illinois

Now some are going to point at Danny Pucino & think that ranking alone should get him in ahead of Drury, Porter & Scott.   I'll tell you why I don't think that'll be the case.  First off Pucino doesn't have any wins over those who have qualified at 141 lbs.  Secondly & even more of a factor, is that Porter recently won a head-to-head 20-9 major decision over the Illini.  I can't see the committee taking Pucino over Drury.  I don't think they'll take him over Scott either.  Could be wrong, but I think unfortunately for the blue & orange, we're looking at #34.
